Thermo King offers their two most popular TRUs with shore power capability (SmartPower™). The SB-230/50 and Spectrum/50 allow the TRUs to plug into electrical outlets at truck stops, warehouses and other plug-in locations. The SB-230 and Spectrum multi-temperature system provide up to 51,000 BTUs. The Smart Reefer™ SR-3 Controller system is included as standard equipment. It is designed for compatibility and integration with wireless technologies, allowing you to monitor and adjust reefer profiles from virtually anywhere. SmartPower™ for both systems is available in either 230VAC or 460VAC configurations.

The T-Series truck refrigeration units were developed to take advantage of the latest fuel-saving technologies, providing fuel efficient engineering for greater fuel economy in all ambient conditions. The ETV (electronic throttling valve) pulls down temperatures faster, allowing greater capacities at lower operating speeds. The TSR-2 controller helps ensure correct parameters are set quickly and easily for every load. With SmartPower™ electric standby operation the T-Series sets new benchmarks for the reduction of emissions, waste, and noise pollution. Various models are available with up to 29,500 BTU capacity. SmartPower™ is available as 230VAC or 460VAC.
