Who Is Cascade Sierra Solutions?
Cascade Sierra Solutions is a federally recognized 501c(3) non-profit organization, founded in 2006, and dedicated to reducing fuel consumption and harmful exhaust emissions from heavy-duty diesel trucks. We do this by promoting and installing US EPA’s SmartWay recognized technologies that
- eliminate the need for engine idling
- improve tractor-trailer aerodynamics
- incorporate fuel efficient tire technologies
- incorporate diesel exhaust treatment retrofits
CSS operates Outreach Centers for truck owners at popular truck stops. The centers each feature one of the largest permanent displays of clean diesel upgrade equipment available to truckers anywhere. CSS Technical Advisors provide assistance selecting appropriate equipment options and completing applications for grant and loan assistance.
CSS also operates a “Fleet Member Program” through our web site keeping truckers informed of rule changes and new funding opportunities and provide SBA Express Loan processing and group insurance plans for our program members.
