Freight Wing Aeroflex
Freight Wing pioneered the unique wedged geometry and low coverage design in aerodynamic skirting performance. The wedged shape provides fuel savings of up to 7.45% at 62 mph in SAE/TMC J1321 type II testing procedures. On road testing projects have shown consistent results in the 5-7% range. The Aeroflex is ideally suited for demanding long haul operations, constructed with automotive quality advanced polymer panels combined with flexible bracing that is designed to absorb both ground and side impacts, resulting in maximized durability and longevity.
The optimal aerodynamics of the Aeroflex provide reliable cost savings that can amount to thousands of dollars per trailer each year. Drivers benefit from improved truck handling and performance, and less drag means more power is available when you need it. Horsepower requirements on the truck engine are also reduced, and the trailer underside, axle and brake components are kept cleaner by deflecting road debris and salt spray.
Widely available from nearly all trailer manufacturers as a factory installed option, and available from select dealer networks for aftermarket installation.

Freight Wing Gap Fairing
The patented Freight Wing Gap Fairing saves on your fuel costs by providing curved airfoils on the top and sides of the trailer face to redirect spillover airflow. Curved sides provide maximum crosswind protection and create the tightest gap seal possible without interfering with the tractor's turning radius. Fuel savings are approximately 2%; savings in excess of 2% would be expected in cases where a wider gap is paired with trucks with limited roof fairing coverage. The unit is durable, lightweight and allows easy access to the back of the cab and connection lines.
Improved airflow around the trailer reduces splash and spray for better visibility for the driver and passing motorist. It also Improves trailer tracking and eases trailer pull for reduced driver fatigue.

Freight Wing Belly Fairing
The Freight Wing Belly Fairing produced a 4% fuel savings in SAE/TMC J1321 type II testing. The fairing is easily mounted to nearly any dry van or reefer by clamping onto exiting I-beams. Angled lower flaps maximize aerodynamic performance and flex to provide up to 20 inches of ground clearance. The modular aluminum side panels are durable, lightweight and inexpensively replaced if accidental damage does occur.
The durable aluminum sheet and post construction is similar to the trailer itself and familiar to any shop technician. No maintenance is required beyond periodic fastener inspection.
