Financing Options

Cascade Sierra Solutions has two financing options for upgrading trucks with fuel saving technology. Any fuel saving technology that falls within EPA’s SmartWay Transport Carrier Strategies and is approved by Cascade Sierra Solution’s Technical Advisory Team is eligible for financing. If your truck or trucks are Oregon base-plated, you are qualified to apply for the Everybody Wins lease program. If you are from any state other than Oregon, you are qualified to apply for a small business loan. The Everybody Wins lease program has below-market interest rates with 60-month repayment terms. The small business loan has market rate interest, but requires no down payment and can amortize the cost over a period of up to ten years.

In Oregon: Everybody Wins Lease Program

This program is financed by a loan to Cascade Sierra Solutions from the Oregon Department of Energy and the Oregon Department of Transportation. This special financing is a lease-to-own program. Cascade Sierra Solutions buys the technology of the truck owner’s choice, pays for the installation and the truck owner pays back the cost over a period of 60 months. Shorter terms are available if desired and the lease can be paid off at any time. When the lease is paid off, the ownership of the equipment transfers to the truck owner. Only trucks that are base-plated in Oregon are eligible for this special financing.

Outside Oregon:

The Small Business Express Loan is available for EPA SmartWay technology upgrades for trucks from any US state. This financing is part of the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Express Loan Program. The interest rate is based on your credit score, but can be no more than prime plus 6.5%. This is an unsecured loan that is simple to apply for. The pre-approval process can be completed in a few minutes. The formal approval is usually 3-4 days. There is no down payment required and the repayment can be over a period of up to 10 years. Cascade Sierra Solutions is an authorized Technical Assistance Center for the Small Business Administration.
