The Econix® DPF-A is an active diesel particulate filter (DPF) that uses an advanced metal fiber filtration system to trap diesel particulate matter (PM) contained in diesel engine exhaust. This innovative emissions reduction technology is capable of reducing PM by 85% or more without the use of a catalyst. This means a faster regeneration time of less than 10 minutes without having to plug in to an electric power source. Independent of vehicle/equipment duty-cycles, the Econix® DPF-A’s active diesel particle filtration does not require minimum engine exhaust temperatures or the use of ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD). Stainless steel construction provides excellent durability.
Vertical or horizontal mounting configuration allows easy installation on a broad range of engine power (150-400 horsepower) and vehicle applications (on-road engine model years 1994-2006). The Electric Control Unit LED display is easy to use and offers visual monitoring of all DPF-A functions. The Econix® DPF-A is CARB Level 3+ Approved for the reduction of PM diesel emissions and eligible for federal, state and local funding programs.
