The Doran 360HD™ TPMS is a heavy duty truck tire pressure monitoring system designed to provide the driver with constant and accurate tire pressure information, and features a multi-phase alert system to warn if any of the tire pressures drop to unsafe levels. The driver can get a digital tire pressure reading of up to 36 wheel locations in less than 30 seconds. This is accomplished using wireless RF transmitters that screw directly onto the valve stem and send information to a cab mounted LCD display/receiver. The wireless valve-stem sensors are waterproof, weatherproof and spin-welded to prevent corrosion and provide long-life. The display monitor has been streamlined for the truck dashboard with multiple mounting accessories available for customized installation based on the layout of the cab.
If there is a drop in tire pressure, the display will provide both an audible and visual alert for the driver to reference the wheel position that is in jeopardy, even while the vehicle is operating. Doran has designed the display to make it easy to understand and operate. The programming is simple so that the sensors can be programmed quickly from your driver's seat. The low pressure alerts occur at 12.5% and 25% below the tire pressure baseline. There is also a Fast Leak™ alert that occurs when there is a 2.8 PSI drop in 12 seconds, and a "HOT" alert when a sensor reaches a temperature of 248°F. An optional "sleep mode" setting will continue to monitor the tires while the ignition is turned off and silence the alarm until the ignition is turned back on.
The Doran 360HD™ system works with both traditional dual-wheel configurations or single tire applications. The 360SL™ (Smart Link) system is designed to accommodate multiple trailers in a "drop & hook" fleet operation. Installation of the display and the mounting and programming of the wireless sensors is estimated to take approximately one hour per truck and trailer.
