The battery operated Comfort Cab unit offers a single system for heating and cooling that requires little truck modification with an all in-cab compact modular design. It provides power for all cab appliances during non-driving time. Batteries are automatically recharged while you drive, and the Start Assist feature allows the truck to be started off of the Comfort Cab battery system if truck batteries are down - even after the system has been running and has not been recharged.
The system provides over 10 hrs. of normal HVAC operation. Variable speed fans deliver 5,050 BTUs/hr. of cooling power and 1200 watt heating. In-cab controls offer climate control and low battery indicator. An integrated AC shore power connection is included, providing the option of running both the Comfort Cab and appliances for an unlimited time. AGM Deep Cycle 31-105 AMP power batteries are recommended for this system for maximum efficiency. The frequency and amount of appliances you run will determine the number of batteries needed.
