DC Power Solutions specializes in the design, development, and distribution of DC (direct current) powered products. They offer the 12 or 24 volt DC Auxiliary Power System – an electric power system for air conditioning and all DC or AC hotel loads without using a generator. The units are completely self-contained and come fully assembled with all contacts and connections fully enclosed. When combined with either the DC Top-Cool or DC Flex-Cool air conditioners, they will allow 8-10 hours of cooling for a sleeper cab without idling, noise, or emissions. The DC Top-Cool and DC Flex-Cool can be powered by the starting batteries, auxiliary batteries or the DC Auxiliary Power System.

Power is supplied by an extended life battery pack with a 440 amp hour capacity. The systems also feature a high capacity 1000 watt inverter, a 50 amp automatic 3 stage battery charger, and a 200 amp power diverter. An external universal plug allows shore power hook-up into any 110 volt AC outlet. They are equipped with a battery monitor and control which prevents discharging below voltage required to start engine.


The DC Top-Cool rooftop air conditioning unit delivers up to 12,000 BTUs/hr. of cooling and is designed for vehicles with a flat cab or body roof. The DC Flex-Cool provides up to 11,500 BTUs/hr. of cooling and offers flexible mounting options with the evaporator in the cab and the compressor mounted outside the cab. Both can be used in conjunction with fuel-fired heaters
