The Comfort Master APU offers an impressive 33,000 BTU's of heat and air conditioning pushed out at 650 cfm from 4 in-cab vents. The patented DC power to AC power APU design features a 3 cylinder Isuzu diesel engine with an average life of 25,000 hours. It is completely assembled in the U.S. and every component except the Isuzu engine is made in the U.S.
As a stand alone system it connects only to the truck’s fuel and battery source; the radiator and condenser are incorporated into the unit. A state of the art digital controller offers 7 day scheduling and display of real time statistics such as water temperature, battery voltage, engine state, cabin temperature, and more. Low battery and auto start protection are also included. Electrical connectors are sealed and locked, and the engine controller is sealed in a tough, shock and vibration isolated enclosure.
This efficient and durable unit operates at a quiet 59 decibels under full load, with an average fuel consumption of .22 gallons per hour. The Power Pack option offers 1,800 watts continuous and 3,600 Watts peak, as well as 120 Volts AC with or without the APU running. The Cold Weather Pack option includes an oil heater for the main engine and an APU oil heater.
